Hi, I have been using my Solar energy system for about 1 month. What a wonderful investment. I am making excellent power with my new system. I am so happy I opted for solar power. This company did everything that they said they would do from permitting to installation. Most importantly they handled obstacles in a very fast customer-oriented way. Each time I was told they would be onsite they were prompt courteous and respectful of my property. I dealt with 5 people during my transaction Rodney from sales, Patti from permitting, Ron, Gary owners and their installer Hayes. Dealing with each of these guys proved to be a very positive experience. I worked with several other companies prior to Solar Energy Specialist. The reason I chose this company was because they understood my energy needs and could work with my timeframe and because of other positive reviews. I am basing this review on the “All you can eat” package. I had Solar panels installed, water heater replaced, HVAC unit replaced, and I added a water softener treatment system. The whole journey began in late Nov of 2020 and ended in early April. Both Gary and Ron are passionate about their business and it shows. The presentation for solar panels is very well done and is broken down in layman’s terms so that anyone can understand the cost savings that will happen. We had a 10.8 kw solar system added to our southern facing roof. We have been generating more power than we consume and KUA ends up giving us credit on our light bill, so we have a negative balance each month on our bill. The customer service is outstanding. Solar panels are where they shine!
The crew they use is very professional and fast. It took longer for KUA to allow me to switch on my panels then it did for them to install it. Water heater installation went smooth, and so did the HVAC installation. My only problem has been with the water softener treatment system I added on. No matter what I do, or techs Gary and Ron send over, the water flowing through the house is super salinized. I’ve read the manual and have done everything but open the darn thing. I will contact Ron and Gary to see if we can come to a final resolution with the water softener, which I am sure they will. They are great at making their customers happy

We've had a great experience with Solar Energy Specialist Corp since the beginning. When we requested for a quote, the representative that came over to our house was polite and respectful of our time. We did not feel pressured at all to sign up if we were not pleased with what we will be hearing. We were communicated with throughout the entire process, receiving frequent updates without having the need to request for it, the information was readily provided to us. There were a few hiccups getting the city permit approved, but our representative did not leave us hanging and held our hand every step of the way. They took care of the HOA permit application fee, which was unexpected. And if that was not good enough, when the activation of the system happened later than expected, they provided the funds to take care of the first loan payment. We were not expecting that to happen! The owner even communicated with us directly to assist with our app view issues and answer any inquiries we may still have post system activation. We are very pleased with our experience from start to finish! I do not write reviews, but here I am compelled to share the great experience with this company to all potential customers out there. It is hard to find a company that holds true to their commitment of providing professional, quality service to their customers. There are a lot of other solar companies out there that will try to get your business by keeping your hopes up and filling you with false promises.
